R&D grants
Every year, $500M of competitive R&D grants are distributed to Israeli companies engaged in the development of innovative products. These grants, provided by the Israeli Chief Scientist (OCS), Bi-national agreements, EU (FP7), Federal Grants (NIH, DHS), and Private Foundations, enable companies to leverage their equity capital without diluting the shareholders and increase their chances of success. In spite of the attractiveness of this funding channel, very few companies utilize its full potential.
