Good to know: There are private foundations grants available for research in most types of serious illnesses
There are numerous American and International private foundations that offer research grants. The majority of the grants are offered to organizations researching cures for specific health problems. Some of these foundations offer grants large enough to be attractive to Israeli Biomed companies. Sunrise strives to identify these foundations, and encourage them to support Israeli developments. To date our efforts have yielded a small database, comprised of foundations offering significant grants also to for-profit entities outside the US.
